About Me

Hey! 

I’m Rachel from Lancashire in the UK.

I started up Lavender Jean Crochet in February 2023 but my crochet journey began at 10 years old (1990!) when my Grom (pictured) taught me the basics. Her name was Jean and she loved lavender, so therefore Lavender Jean was born. 💜 

It was around 2014 that I decided to try my hand at amigurumi as well, and I picked it up again in February 2023 to help me with my anxiety. It really has made a difference to my mental health, and I have made a few wonderful crochet friends since starting up again.
